SINGING NEW SONGS: IN CENTRAL ASIA, A YWAM MUSIC STUDIO CAPTURES THE SOUNDS OF WORSHIP by YWAM International
It has been said, “You can say anything, preach any truth to a Muslim through a song.” John, a YWAM worker in Central Asia, has found this to be true. With a heart for the unreached Muslims in that area, he started a simple recording studio in 1994 where he would record some of the first Christian music in the Central Asian Turkik languages. Building slowly, one piece of equipment at a time, the one-room studio that began recording with a four-track tape deck now uses a computer with high quality recording equipment.
